There are two kinds of dissertation methodologies that you must know how to use in your dissertation papers. It mostly depends on your selected area of study and your applied research techniques. The first dissertation methodology is known as quantitative. If you put pen to paper for dissertation writing in a scientific or technical regulation, obviously you have to use quantitative methodology. A quantitative technique will require you to gather and examine data that will be aim to your discoveries reliant on statistical and numerical examination.
 
The second methodology is known as qualitative. This type of methodology will require you to rely on speeches, discussions, survey reports, or other information that are difficult to exploit in numeric way. Another type of dissertation methodology is commonly used in writing dissertation that is combined or mixed. This type is a combination of both types i.e. quantitative and qualitative methodology.
